Design Notes
The paraR promoter, along with the native ribosome binding site (RBS) found in BBa_K4633005, was tested in Bacillus subtilis 168 as a part of the synthetic construct. This composite part was used to investigate the promoter's regulatory characteristics and its impact on downstream gene expression.
Source
The sequence of the paraR promoter was sourced from the work of Sá-Nogueira and Mota (1997) [1].
